The Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) invited Dr Helen Taylor to present a keynote talk at the UNITE SpLD Conference 2022. This was part of the EMBRACE DYSLEXIA campaign, which seeks to debunk common misconceptions about dyslexia, encourage dyslexia people to embrace their learning differences, and to call organisations to take greater action to help people with dyslexia.
Helen’s keynote focused on how dyslexia helps our species to adapt and survive, through a specialisation in exploration.
